Living in another world

fuckyeahlavernecox:

"If you have a problem with people living their lives and being authentically who they are, you really should go and do some soul-searching."

Side note: For a moment there I thought she was going to say “You really should go fuck yourself” but I suppose this is a lot more graceful and polite :P

Oh Petey C, I love you already.

For those like me who can neither afford nor be arsed to leave their house on a Sunday morn to buy a copy of the Times, my good friend Blogtor Who has been kind enough to summarise the interview here. PLENTY of food for thought. Opinions?

Fangirl Challenge | [6/10] Shows: Doctor Who

….. I’ve lived a long life and I’ve seen a few things. I walked away from the Last Great Time War. I marked the passing of the Time Lords. I saw the birth of the universe and I watched as time ran out, moment by moment, until nothing remained. No time. No space. Just me. I walked in universes where the laws of physics were devised by the mind of a madman. I’ve watched universes freeze and creations burn. I have seen things you wouldn’t believe. I have lost things you will never understand. And I know things, secrets that must never be told and knowledge that must never be spoken. Knowledge that will make parasite gods blaze. So come on then! Take it! Take it all, baby! Have it! You have it all!

“Never, never be afraid to do what’s right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society’s punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.”

once one of my best friends told me that i was wearing too much makeup (i was wearing lip gloss and mascara) and told me that i should have a look that’s more like my other friend (who wears a full face of makeup every day) as she looks more natural and that moment made me realize that men truly do not understand what makeup looks like
